Manna from Heaven

Being tender and open is beautiful. As a woman, I feel continually hushed. Too sensitive. Too mushy. Too wishy-washy. Blah blah blah. Don’t let someone steal your tenderness. Don’t allow the coldness and fear of others to tarnish your perfectly vulnerable beating heart. Nothing is more powerful than allowing yourself to truly be affected by things. Whether it’s a song, a stranger, a mountain, a rain drop, a tea kettle, an article, a sentence, a footstep, feel it all – look around you. All of this is for you. Take it and have gratitude. Give it and feel love.

~Zooey Deschanel

What beautiful words!! I wonder how simply marvellous our world would be if we only allowed ourselves to Feel….truly….completely……absolutely in the most basic fashion known to man. The beauty of curiosity and honest wonder can only be surpassed by that of the innocence of a child.

The first sip of that hot coffee on a cold evening, the first rain which releases that delicious fragrance of wet earth, the hammering of the heart when you see that “Person”, the joy of walking on the beach during sunsets, the thrill of a roller coaster ride, the warmth of a hug, the tingling of the first kiss, first time you see your baby, the wonder of the first time the baby takes that first step, that pair of jeans that fit you after some serious days of weight-watchers, the sheer joy of being in nature…..walking amongst the healing cluster of green or the riot of colors during the Spring, the complete abandon of skinny dipping in the river, the feeling of flying after one too many drinks or something else, talking nonsense with your best mates with some cold pizza, eating ice cream on the cold night, your first sky dive or bungee jump…..WOW……………….ooooooooooooooo the list can go on and on and on………………….I just jotted down a few somethings to remind us of the little drops of manna we are blessed with. Now everytime you feel that you are amongst the drab and dusty….think again because your miracle is tucked in right next to that what you call drab and dusty…just gotta open your eyes…..and while you are at it……open your mind as well to find the true bits of fantastic just waiting for your recognition.

Truly the Divine is Within us and Around us…. ❤

I see trees of green, red roses too I see them bloom for me and you And I say to myself What wonderful world
I see skies of blue and clouds of white Bright sunny days, dark sacred nights And I think to myself What a wonderful world
The colors of the rainbow are so pretty in the skies Are also on the faces of people walking by I see friends shaking hands saying How do you do? They’re really saying I love you
I see babies cry, I watch them grow They’ll learn much more than I’ll ever know And I think to myself What a wonderful world Yes, I think to myself What a wonderful world
And I say to myself What a wonderful world

Happy Women’s Day

I thought about writing something nice, something chirpy and inspiring as an ode to women this women’s day….then I thought about this famous quote by Audrey Hepburn and the simple beauty of it mesmerised me yet again. It is so heartfelt and expressed with such genuine conviction that it touches that deepest part of me and stirs the chords…….it is musical to my ears. What better way to wish the world a Happy Women’s Day than by doing so with this classy quote by a woman who is held in high regard by the world for her beauty, charisma, a fearless mind and a heart that believed in Miracles.

Energy Flows where Attention Goes

Just like a pond which is filled with Lotus Blooms, our heart is filled with blooms like Love, Happiness, Abundance, Humor, Trust and so many more. Needless to say we do have weeds too but then we cannot have a garden and not have weeds. The point is do we spend time fretting about the weeds or enjoy the quaint beauty of the Lotus flowers? In that answer lies magic…yes magic which creates what we want in life……remember “Energy flows where Attention goes” so as long as we have our sights set on the Lotus, we’ll always have a pond full of them. This is how the Law Of Attraction works, if we are filled with gratitude for the beauty in our lives, then our lives will be filled with more and more of beauty to have gratitude for. Likewise, if we focus on all things which are not going right in our lives and worry about them then we will attract more of situations which will create more worries for us.

Our Mind is a sacred place and needs to be treated with respect. You have all the rights to reserve admission to thoughts that make you happy. It is absolutely amazing to actually realize our power to manifest…power to create and thoughts are our tool to do that.

Happy Thinkin……..
