Being Spiritual

The question is “What is Spirituality?”…there are myriad answers, depending on who do you speak with. The one that seems quite prevalent is the one which claims that being spiritual means moving away from the materialistic world, giving up your pleasures and leisure and leading a somewhat spartan life. I with all due respect to all who hold this point of view have a different take. Spirituality is a search………search of self….exploration to understand the depth of our consciousness; it is about understanding the Divine flow of energy. It is about finding balance…..and that balance only means accepting ourselves and every aspect of ourselves. It is about being truly whole………and understanding that there is power which pulsates within our beings, which moves us and creates constantly for us…through us.

Being Spiritual is diametrically opposite to renouncing the materialistic world…it actually means finding balance while you enjoy this world and all that you do. If your life’s purpose requires you to be a soldier and protect your country, you will hardly find peace by renouncing that and sitting idle in a mountain resort. It is imperative to understand that everything that we are and that we do is woven intricately with the fabric of Spirituality as Spirit is energy and we are beings of energy….. energy flows through us…around us. The flow of energy does not stop to convince us or does not require our belief in it…..it just “Is”. Our True Self is in complete harmony with this flow. This “True Self” is a part of the cosmos hence is completely balanced and is peaceful………..it flows like Water without distinguishing easy or rocky terrain….it shines like Sun both on what we know is good and what we term as bad……it does not judge or choose….it is LOVE in its purest form. We are all part of this Divine Universe…..This Divine Universe is part of the Divine Multiverse…………if you are essentially a part of the Divine how can you not be Divine.

Being spiritual means to simply embark on this inner journey of finding this “True Self”. While on this journey, we do not need to give up our worldly lives for we are meant to live in this world and it is created as the platform for us to learn and grow from. It only means to listen to that tiny little voice whispering inside us, urging us to look beyond what our trained senses tell us…………to look beyond all man created imperfections and rejoice instead in the beauty which exists in all.

Once we discover this “True Self” it is like in the vast ocean and finding the bottom of the ocean where there is a magnificent world of its own. This space then becomes the proverbial “suspended” reality where we can then relinquish all fears which plague us. We are whole, less needy to seek approvals or acceptance from others, less judgemental of others life’s and choices, more loving and accepting of not only others’ but ourselves, we are more forgiving and doing so and being so releases us. When we find this space, there are limitless possibilities to create and enjoy and rejoice……….for this is where “Real Magic” is found. Even a glimpse of this “True Self” is enough to propel us on this Journey of “Being Spiritual”………..and then whatever we do and wherever we are and whoever we are with is infused with love and balance; we are more productive as we move from the space of limitations to that of possibilities. Once we start on the road to find our “Self”, we will notice how our physical bodies become healthier, how stress and anger dissipates from our lives and how peace radiates from our beings. This is because all dis-eases are a result of unresolved emotions and unassimilated lessons of our lives which manifest in the physical bodies…………once we become aware of the innate connection between body, mind and soul…we are automatically respectful of all three and therefore more attentive of what they tell us.

Now, I have been asked, does finding our “True Self”, means we will never again get angry or scared or judgemental or harbor ill intentions for others…………Well the answer is ……….certainly not for we are in this world and here those aspects are a constant and will be till our collective consciousness moves to the next level and no longer needs this reality to learn from…however it means that when we do get caught up in this wave of low energetic thoughts, we are aware of our thoughts and what actions they inspire and therefore we are able to release these thoughts with less resistance…………it means that earlier a fight or event which bothered us for days will now bother for may be just a day or less……it means that we forgive more easily and release ourselves from the bondage of anger and resentment. It means our physical bodies will be healthy, our emotional and mental bodies will be more balanced and our spiritual bodies will be constantly exploring our Divine Power and Higher Consciousness………….

Just one last thing, when you embark of this journey……..you will always be supported and guided……….so if there is a restlessness inside you….do not suppress it as an acid reflux…..instead try to ask yourself…”is that my Inner Self stirring inside”?

Bon Voyage fellow explorers 🙂

Creation

The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect but by the play instinct acting from inner necessity. The creative mind plays with the objects it loves. – Carl Jung

How true these words are! It’s an old adage “Necessity is the mother of Creation”…I agree but there is more to it. In moments of necessity where we do we get our ideas from? I used to wonder (till a few years back) how is it that when under duress, our mind acts with such clarity and precision. Can we then give the credit to “survival instinct” alone? Well, I guess not…like I said earlier; there’s more than meets the eye.

In times of extreme duress, we rely more on instincts because we actually do not have time to analyse what information we get from our brains. Why then is it that these decisions are more often than not life-saving in so many ways; whether it is professionally or personally. We all have an inner voice – a voice of our higher consciousness – a voice of intuition if you please which always speaks to us. Now what we choose to do with those suggestions is another matter altogether. Like any other aspect of human anatomy, our intuition can also be honed. Angels, Ascended Masters and all other Divine entities speak to us through this inner voice and to listen to their voice, we need to calm the noises of the active brain.

When we allow our creative mind to come into play, we need to also keep an eye out for the logical mind as it may cast clouds of judgement and doubt on the creativity. This is exactly what happens naturally in situations where we are too caught up to allow the logical mind to make the decisions. Creativity is the product of the Lucid mind.

Why else would they say “Miracles are acts of faith” Faith often is not logical. Having said that, we cannot disregard our logical mind as it plays a very important part in creating a structure. I am merely saying that it is important to be open to creative ideas and solutions. Sometimes, the reason why things are not working out is because we got to simply stop being in control and allow the Universe to create Magic 🙂 If you can visualize it, you can actualize it. There is nothing that the mind thinks which does not get created in the end. Let’s remember that what is today a “Given” was once a figment of “Active Imagination” and today we are better off because someone did visualize it 🙂 (Some examples would be the Aircrafts, Mobile phones, even a heart transplant for that matter)

Three Cheers to the Dreamers for their dreams propel the Universe to expand and make way for the dreams to turn into reality!!!
