Never say Never

Robert Sternberg received a C in his first college introductory-psychology class. His teacher commented that “there was a famous Sternberg in psychology and it was obvious there would not be another.” Three years later Sternberg graduated with honors from Stanford University with exceptional distinction in psychology, summa cum laude, and Phi Beta Kappa. In 2002, he became President of the American Psychological Association. NEVER say NEVER ♥

Charles Darwin gave up a medical career and was told by his father, “You care for nothing but shooting, dogs and rat catching.” In his autobiography, Darwin wrote, “I was considered by all my masters and my father, a very ordinary boy, rather below the common standard of intellect.” Clearly, he evolved and more importantly he never quit. NEVER say NEVER ♥

“Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall.” – Confucius

Do not allow anyone to take your dreams away because your dreams are actually the Divine Path that guides you, propels you, drives you to be who you truly have the potential to be. It is the journey to find the destination which has all the lessons, love, pain, thrill and finally a breakthrough…………do not give it up for anything!!!

The Perennial Debate: Anger v.s. Forgiveness!!!!!!!

Anger is such a limiting and acidic emotion…..everytime we feel anger, it leaves us drained of the vital life force, constantly erodes our peace of mind; manifests as ailments in our body….gives us insomnia.

With every appearance, it reduces our ability to see the truth, causes delusion of control when all it does is spins our emotions out of control.

Anger eats away the person who holds it in their hearts and minds, it is akin to holding a burning piece of coal in our bare palm expecting to throw it at someone else when all the while the hot coal burns the skin off of our hands.

When you allow anger to guide you, it clouds your judgement; it makes everything appear darker, more grim and more hurtful than it needs to be.

It is addictive and like every addiction it tricks you to believe in the false sense of control which it creates in your mind……………it does not let you go free. It is like keeping your heart tied in a barbed wire…..it only hurts you.

v.s.

Forgiveness on the other hand is so liberating and therapeutic; every time we allow Forgiveness into our hearts and lives…it washes away the acidic Anger and leaves in its wake….Peace and Freedom…….

When we choose to forgive, it under no circumstance should be equated to condoning the action; it actually means you are able to see the person and the action as two different things and deal with it accordingly without confusing one with the other.

Forgiving means you are no longer going to carry on the consequence of someone else’s action, you are no longer going to allow that event or person’s behavior keep you enslaved.

Forgiveness allows you the choice to move on……it liberates you. Once you forgive the action, you can then choose to either allow the person a second chance or move on without a second glance however without the baggage.

Forgiveness is like Spring, with a riot of colors and fragrance. It fills you up with creativity, hope and beauty.

When the distinction is available to you, it only is a matter of time before you choose one; just remember your choice can enslave you or set you free……

Happy Choosing:))

Angel message

Today’s message comes from the card deck by Diana Cooper. I have used a 3 card spread for today’s message.

The message is especially a beautiful one.

1st Card : “You are a Star”

The Angels see us as we are, a pure spirit having an earthly experience to learn and grow from. They tell us today that no matter what, they want us to know that they think “we are a star”. They want us to believe that wherever we are and whatever we are doing or have done in the past…..our magnificence is within us….waiting to be recognised by us. Once we truly learn a lesson, we can release the situation which was created to facilitate the learning. We can always ask our Angels to guide us and they will. Once we learn our lesson, we can move forward in Divine Love. Nothing is a punishable act by God……we punish ourselves because of our guilt, fear and anger which attracts more of this…..so to truly move on and change our lives…..we need to forgive ourselves and others. Do not forget, You are a Star……only…..may be you are not aware of your inner shine ……yet 🙂

This card signifies the immediate past and it tells us that incase we have been feeling low and unappreciated, the Angels believe that we are starts and there is infinite brilliance within us so we should start believing in our own brilliance ❤

2nd Card: “Self Worth is a magnetic quality”

I loved this card. It once again points us towards the power of the Law of Attraction. This card signifies that when we value ourselves for who we are and what we have then we will always attract people who will do the same. Self – worth is as essential to us as a healthy heart……..when our arteries gets blocked, it creates a lot of heart problems…likewise when our knowledge of our self-worth is blocked……it creates a lot of emotional (and some physical) problems. When we are in denial of our Self-Worth….everything that we do and everyone who we meet is tainted by this absence thereby creating events or relationships which are harsh and unhealthy for us. We attract people who demean us, use us and most importantly it makes us believe that we actually deserve this. On the contrary, when we are completely aware of our Self-Worth, we attract people and situations who continuosly reaffirms our belief in our brilliance who appreciates us for who we are. Today the Angels want us to know that we are very special and there is unlimited potential hidden within us. If someone is telling us otherwise, then we need to inspect our own belief system of ourself. What do we believe about ourself, do we often accept what does not make us happy and believe that we cannot get anything better than that? Do we believe that our destiny is filled with challenges? Do we believe that we deserve every bit of criticism intended for us? The Angels say that if you do believe in any of these statements then it is vitally important for you to go and stand in front of a mirror and say to yourself, “I LOVE AND APPROVE OF YOU, YOU ARE A MAGINIFICENT CREATION OF GOD” and say this as many times as you need to, allow all the tears to flow if they do………..say it till you start believing that YOU ARE STAR because you TRULY are 🙂 once you start believing this, the Angels promise you that your life will be a testimony of happiness and success.

This card is for your present.

3rd Card: “If you miss a tide, there will be another one waiting for you”

Unline what people have believed for eons, “time and tide wait for none”….Angels want you to know that if you miss a tide, there will be another one waiting for you. Life is filled with opportunities and chances; so do not get worried if you miss out on one chance because there will be many more. Just because you cannot see something, does not mean it doesn’t exist. They want you to know that they appreciate you taking your time before you do decide to listen to them or your inner voice…..they want you to know that it is OK to be scared and unsure and they especially want you to know that Confusion is a wonderful state to be in because when you are confused, it means you are considering options….else you would not be confused. They urge you to believe that there is always a way out, a better tomorrow…….you just need to believe in it. If you have been wondering if it is even worth  it or if it is too late, they want you to know that it is never too late because………………………….. if you miss a tide, THERE WILL BE ANOTHER ONE WAITING FOR YOU.

This is a card for your immediate future.

With much Love and Blessings

Your Angels

Being True to Yourself is all that matters

Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.

As far as possible without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexations to the spirit.

If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

Beautiful Words

The Four Reliances:

First, rely on the spirit and meaning of the teachings, not on the words;

Second, rely on the teachings, not on the personality of the teacher;

Third, rely on real wisdom, not superficial interpretation;

And Fourth, rely on the essence of your pure Wisdom Mind, not on judgmental perceptions.

It is better to conquer yourself Than to win a thousand battles. Then the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, Not by angels or by demons, Heaven or hell.

With gentleness overcome anger. With generosity overcome meanness. With truth overcome deceit.

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.

Being Spiritual

The question is “What is Spirituality?”…there are myriad answers, depending on who do you speak with. The one that seems quite prevalent is the one which claims that being spiritual means moving away from the materialistic world, giving up your pleasures and leisure and leading a somewhat spartan life. I with all due respect to all who hold this point of view have a different take. Spirituality is a search………search of self….exploration to understand the depth of our consciousness; it is about understanding the Divine flow of energy. It is about finding balance…..and that balance only means accepting ourselves and every aspect of ourselves. It is about being truly whole………and understanding that there is power which pulsates within our beings, which moves us and creates constantly for us…through us.

Being Spiritual is diametrically opposite to renouncing the materialistic world…it actually means finding balance while you enjoy this world and all that you do. If your life’s purpose requires you to be a soldier and protect your country, you will hardly find peace by renouncing that and sitting idle in a mountain resort. It is imperative to understand that everything that we are and that we do is woven intricately with the fabric of Spirituality as Spirit is energy and we are beings of energy….. energy flows through us…around us. The flow of energy does not stop to convince us or does not require our belief in it…..it just “Is”. Our True Self is in complete harmony with this flow. This “True Self” is a part of the cosmos hence is completely balanced and is peaceful………..it flows like Water without distinguishing easy or rocky terrain….it shines like Sun both on what we know is good and what we term as bad……it does not judge or choose….it is LOVE in its purest form. We are all part of this Divine Universe…..This Divine Universe is part of the Divine Multiverse…………if you are essentially a part of the Divine how can you not be Divine.

Being spiritual means to simply embark on this inner journey of finding this “True Self”. While on this journey, we do not need to give up our worldly lives for we are meant to live in this world and it is created as the platform for us to learn and grow from. It only means to listen to that tiny little voice whispering inside us, urging us to look beyond what our trained senses tell us…………to look beyond all man created imperfections and rejoice instead in the beauty which exists in all.

Once we discover this “True Self” it is like in the vast ocean and finding the bottom of the ocean where there is a magnificent world of its own. This space then becomes the proverbial “suspended” reality where we can then relinquish all fears which plague us. We are whole, less needy to seek approvals or acceptance from others, less judgemental of others life’s and choices, more loving and accepting of not only others’ but ourselves, we are more forgiving and doing so and being so releases us. When we find this space, there are limitless possibilities to create and enjoy and rejoice……….for this is where “Real Magic” is found. Even a glimpse of this “True Self” is enough to propel us on this Journey of “Being Spiritual”………..and then whatever we do and wherever we are and whoever we are with is infused with love and balance; we are more productive as we move from the space of limitations to that of possibilities. Once we start on the road to find our “Self”, we will notice how our physical bodies become healthier, how stress and anger dissipates from our lives and how peace radiates from our beings. This is because all dis-eases are a result of unresolved emotions and unassimilated lessons of our lives which manifest in the physical bodies…………once we become aware of the innate connection between body, mind and soul…we are automatically respectful of all three and therefore more attentive of what they tell us.

Now, I have been asked, does finding our “True Self”, means we will never again get angry or scared or judgemental or harbor ill intentions for others…………Well the answer is ……….certainly not for we are in this world and here those aspects are a constant and will be till our collective consciousness moves to the next level and no longer needs this reality to learn from…however it means that when we do get caught up in this wave of low energetic thoughts, we are aware of our thoughts and what actions they inspire and therefore we are able to release these thoughts with less resistance…………it means that earlier a fight or event which bothered us for days will now bother for may be just a day or less……it means that we forgive more easily and release ourselves from the bondage of anger and resentment. It means our physical bodies will be healthy, our emotional and mental bodies will be more balanced and our spiritual bodies will be constantly exploring our Divine Power and Higher Consciousness………….

Just one last thing, when you embark of this journey……..you will always be supported and guided……….so if there is a restlessness inside you….do not suppress it as an acid reflux…..instead try to ask yourself…”is that my Inner Self stirring inside”?

Bon Voyage fellow explorers 🙂

A picture is truly worth a thousand words……

It’s ironical how the most simple of things takes us so long to fathom
